Maartje van Mensfort, on behalf of CIRO and initially Sterk Reclamebureau, has asked BYLEI to provide an initial concept for the organization and coordination of the farewell events for Prof. Dr. E.F.M. Wouters in mid-June 2019. Different events are planned for various audiences to say “thank you” and “goodbye.” He will be saying farewell, yet he will not be leaving entirely. His knowledge and expertise will continue to live on in a meaningful way.

Events are scheduled for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, some in Horn and some in Maastricht. The largest and most special event will take place on Friday, June 21, in Maastricht, beginning with a symposium followed by a lecture, a reception, and a festive evening. Special guests will be in attendance for each event.
