FAREWELL TO NXP
AUTO DRIVE-THRU Farewell to Guido Dierick
FAREWELL RECEPTION | 300 GUESTS
GOAL | WISH
BYLEI was asked by Guido Dierick, then a director at NXP, to organize his farewell event during the pandemic. Due to the laws and regulations in effect at the time, a “normal” event was not possible. It was not possible to say goodbye with a handshake.
BYLEI came up with and developed the concept at that time: the drive-thru farewell. It was a special farewell during what was certainly a special time. Despite the restrictions, all guests were able to say goodbye to a wonderful driver in the NXP parking garage.
The guests drove their own cars through the parking garage to the top floor, where they could drive past Guido. All the music and speeches could be heard from their own cars via a radio frequency. On their way from the bottom to the top and back again, the guests were treated to a health check along with a healthy snack, various appetizers, and drinks.
